About GDI Services
General Description: A backshift cleaner is generally responsible for collecting and compacting all garbage, scrubbing and mopping floors
Responsibilities:
- Clean floors (mopping, sweeping)
- Daily cleaning of washrooms and lunchrooms
- Empties and cleans garbage cans
- Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches and doors
- Cleans partition glass that is within arm’s reach
- Clean and tidy washrooms
- Restocks single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins
- Dusts and damp wipes office equipment
- Disinfects telephones at established frequencies or on an as requested basis
- Additional duties may be required from time to time.
