Overview
Our Client is currently seeking a licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to join their team in a fast-paced Plastic Extrusion manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on extrusion machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner
Install, align, and dismantle industrial equipment and machinery
Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Requirements
Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License (Ontario)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (extrusion preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
Ability to work rotating shifts (days/nights/weekends if required)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
