Job Description:
Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems
Repair and adjust system components
Complete test and maintenance reports
Remove and replace defective parts
Calibrate components and instruments
Logical approach for troubleshooting
Determine testing and maintenance procedures
Install new measuring instruments
Coach and instruct apprentices
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work
Read and interpret blueprints
Requirements:
-Education: Completion of secondary school is required
-Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. If the candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate related to the field is required.
– Driver’s License is required
-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Attention to detail, Large workload, Repetitive tasks, Ability to distinguish between colours, Standing for extended periods of time, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Work under pressure, Overtime required.
-Personal suitability: Accurate, Judgement, Team player, Organized, Excellent oral and written communication, Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility.
– Language: English is required
Salary: $45.67 hourly. 40 – 48 Hours per week.

Important information We require a high level of flexibility since issues can arise at any moment. The regular shift is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, work may have to be performed on weekends or over extended hours. Therefore, weekend/holiday work and overtime is required.
