Job Description:

Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations

Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies

Prepare the site for pool installation, including digging, leveling, and clearing the area.

Build and install concrete swimming pool shells; pour and finish concrete if required.

Install pool plumbing systems, including pipes, drains, pumps, filters, and water circulation systems.

Connect pool electrical components such as pumps, heaters, lighting, and automated systems safely.

Apply sealants, and waterproof coatings to ensure the pool is leak-free.

Install pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators) and test systems for proper operation.

Remove debris, excess materials, and ensure the worksite is clean and safe after installation.

Assist with troubleshooting minor issues, repairs, or upgrades as needed post-installation.

Follow all safety protocols and regulations during installation to prevent accidents or damage.

Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment

Utilize hand and power tools

Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve

productivity and product quality

May drive between work locations.

Requirements

Education: Some secondary education is required.

Experience: At least 7 months of installing experience are required. On the job training will be provided

Valid driver’s license is required.

Ontario Working at Heights and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System certificate are a strong asset.

Salary: 36.00 hourly, 30 – 40 hours per week.

Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The usual schedule is from Monday to Friday, starting at 6:45 am and ending at 2:00 pm or 5:00 pm depending on the business needs. We guarantee 30 hours of work per week regardless of weather
