Job Duties:<\/p>\n
– Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery<\/p>\n
– Move and align subassemblies and components<\/p>\n
– Read and interpret blueprints<\/p>\n
– Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors, or hydraulic assemblies<\/p>\n
– Inspect machinery and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards<\/p>\n
– Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment under standardized procedures<\/p>\n
– Work with advanced manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, overhead and transfer systems, robotic systems, and presses.<\/p>\n
– Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment<\/p>\n
– Troubleshoot, replace and\/or repair machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings<\/p>\n
– Perform welding, metal fabricating, hand finishing, grinding, and polishing<\/p>\n
– Design and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems<\/p>\n
– May drive a forklift if needed.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n
– Education: Completion of high school is required<\/p>\n
– Experience: at least 3 years of experience in the field is required. If the candidate does not have 3 years of experience, then the completion of a mechanical apprenticeship program, such as millwrighting, machining, pipefitting, automotive service or heavy equipment repair OR completion of a four-year machine fitter apprenticeship program is required<\/p>\n
– Equipment and machinery experience: Construction machinery, Gears, Hydraulic components, Pumps, Electrical wiring devices, Heavy machinery manufacturing, Overhead crane.<\/p>\n
– Experience with PLC, Ladder Logic, and VFD is a strong asset<\/p>\n
– Driver\u2019s license is a strong asset<\/p>\n
– Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment<\/p>\n

Salary: $36.00 hourly, 48 hours per week<\/p>\n

Important Information: Work schedule is 4 days a week, on a rotational basis. Workers must work 12 hours shifts, from 5:30 pm to 5:30 am. Flexibility on schedule is required. Overtime is required. Work on weekends and holidays may be required.<\/p>\n
