Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents<\/p>\n
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties<\/p>\n
Shop for food and household supplies<\/p>\n
Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties<\/p>\n
Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens<\/p>\n
Bathe, dress and feed child<\/p>\n
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents<\/p>\n
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development<\/p>\n
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children<\/p>\n
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home<\/p>\n
Organize, activities such as games and outings for children<\/p>\n
Prepare and serve nutritious meals<\/p>\n
Prepare children for rest periods<\/p>\n
Take child to and from school and to appointments<\/p>\n
Supervise and care for children<\/p>\n
Tend to emotional well-being of children<\/p>\n
Help a child with homework<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
-Education: Completion of secondary school<\/p>\n
-Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as child care provider or caregiver is required<\/p>\n
-CPR certificate is an asset<\/p>\n
-First aid certificate is required<\/p>\n
-Experience working with kids with disabilities is a strong asset<\/p>\n
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Work under pressure, Attention to detail<\/p>\n
Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Judgement, Reliability<\/p>\n
