Job Description:<\/p>\n

Monitoring chickens\u2019 health
\nFeed and tend chickens
\nOperate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
\nClean barns and barnyards
\nDetect disease and health problems in poultry
\nExamine product for quality and prepare for market
\nWrite daily basic progress reports
\nSet and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns and chicken coops
\nCollect and sanitize hatching eggs
\nSorting and picking eggs.
\nBarn walking, cleaning, looking after litter conditions
\nRequirements:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
-Education: Not required<\/p>\n
-Experience is an asset \/ On-the-job training will be provided<\/p>\n
-Worker must be able to sit \/ bend and stand for extended periods, lift up to 40-60 pounds.<\/p>\n
-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Large workload, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching and kneeling, Standing for extended periods of time.<\/p>\n
-Personal suitability: Team player, Organized<\/p>\n
-Work site environment: Noisy, Outdoors, Dusty, Odours.<\/p>\n
-Language: Basic level of English is required.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Salary: $18.00 hourly, 40-60 hours per week.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Benefits: Accommodation provided at a discounted rate. The employer will provide transportation to and from the housing to the work location, when necessary.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Important Information: Work shifts will be from 7 am to 5 pm. Weekend work and overtime might be required. One 30-minute lunch break (unpaid) and two 15 minutes healthy breaks (paid).<\/p>\n
