Monitoring turkeys health
\nFeed and tend turkeys
\nOperate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
\nClean barns and barnyards
\nDetect disease and health problems in poultry
\nExamine produce for quality and prepare for market
\nWrite daily basic progress reports
\nSet and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns
\nArtificial insemination of turkeys
\nTurkey semen collection
\nSelection of turkeys
\nBirds\/turkey catching and weights
\nCollect and sanitize hatching eggs
\nBarn walking, cleaning, look after litter conditions
\nRequirements:<\/p>\n
-Education: Not required.<\/p>\n
-Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.<\/p>\n
-Worker must be able to sit \/ bend and stand for extended periods, lift up to 40-60 pounds.<\/p>\n

Salary: $18.60 hourly, 40 – 60 hours per week depending on flock flow.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Benefits:\u00a0Uniforms, transportation to and from work, bonus based on fertility results and flock results at the end of each pay period, health savings account, and accommodation provided on a discounted rate. Transportation costs covered if workers need to relocate.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Important Information:\u00a0Flexibility on schedule is required in order to cover a 12-hour operation per day from 6 AM to 6 PM. 8 to 12-hour shift from Monday to Friday and every third weekend or 2 days on and 2 days off, depending on the requirements and results.<\/p>\n
