Job Description:<\/p>\n

– Bottle feeding calves<\/p>\n
– Scraping manure mats<\/p>\n
– Bedding cattle<\/p>\n
– Assuring cattle are fed<\/p>\n
– Pushing up feed<\/p>\n
– Assisting with sorting, tagging cattle<\/p>\n
– Cleaning, pressure washing calf penning<\/p>\n
– Handling animals<\/p>\n
– Monitoring animal health<\/p>\n
– Monitor the calving process<\/p>\n
– Perform general farm duties<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n
– Education: Not required<\/p>\n
– Experience: Experience is an asset. On the job training will be provided<\/p>\n
– Driver\u2019s license is an asset<\/p>\n
– Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Bending, crouching,<\/p>\n
kneeling, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Combination of standing and walking, Standing for extended periods, Ability to work independently, Hand-eye coordination<\/p>\n

Salary: $17.60 hourly, 30 \u2013 39.5 hours per week<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
Important Information: The employee will work 6 days per week from 6:00 am to 10:00 am and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Flexibility on schedule is required as some days will start earlier and others finish later depending on the business needs and weather. The candidates will have 1 unpaid food break of 30 minutes and 1 paid healthy break of 15 minutes. We guarantee at least 30 hours of work per week regardless of the weather.<\/p>\n
