Job Description:<\/p>\n

Load, unload, and move product and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
\nOperate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
\nPick orders and stock
\nMake labels and attach to goods
\nWeigh materials and goods
\nWrap goods
\nPack and unpack goods
\nSort, crate, and stack goods
\nInstall, lash, and secure goods
\nStore cargo and materials
\nTransport and distribute materials and goods
\nOrganize and maintain inventory
\nBuild pallets
\nShip orders
\nProvide customer service to customers and truck drivers
\nRead and decipher billing of lading and invoices in order to load customers
\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment.
\nWork with Operations, Sales and Administration to ensure optimal team performance
\nStage customer orders
\nDouble-check loads before they leave the yard
\nRequirements:<\/p>\n

-Education: Completion of secondary school is required.<\/p>\n
-Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a material handler is required.<\/p>\n
-Forklift experience loading and unloading flat decks and vans is a requirement.<\/p>\n

Important Information:\u00a0The employee will work Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm. During winter, the regular schedule is from 6 am to 3 pm. The schedule includes 30 minutes of unpaid lunch break and 30 minutes of paid healthy breaks. Flexibility on schedule is required. Shifts may vary according to the business\u2019 needs. Occasional overtime will be required.<\/p>\n
