Job Description:<\/p>\n
Read work plans to determine work requirements<\/p>\n
Help with the installation and assembly of equipment<\/p>\n
Inspect products and processing methods; prepare reports and ensure that regulations governing health, quality and safety are followed<\/p>\n
Document work completed<\/p>\n
Repair, maintain and restore smokestacks (concrete, brick & steel)<\/p>\n
Constructs, maintains, and demolishes elevated structures, such as smokestacks according to specifications.<\/p>\n
Climb ladder and scaffolding to access work site at extreme heights<\/p>\n
Assemble and climbs interlocking ladder<\/p>\n
Construct and climb scaffolding tower around structure<\/p>\n
Position and weld fabricated steel sections to structure<\/p>\n
Repointing and motor joint repair on brick structure<\/p>\n
Installs lightning protection devices<\/p>\n
Apply paint and waterproofing solutions<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Education:\u00a0Completion of secondary education is required<\/p>\n
Experience:\u00a0At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry are required.<\/p>\n
Must adhere to all Health and Safety Laws and Regulations set forth by the company, customers and Ministry of Labour<\/p>\n
Ontario\u00a0Working\u00a0at\u00a0Heights\u00a0is\u00a0required.\u00a0If\u00a0the\u00a0candidate\u00a0does\u00a0not\u00a0have\u00a0the\u00a0training\u00a0certificate,<\/p>\n
he\/she\u00a0will\u00a0need\u00a0to\u00a0apply\u00a0for\u00a0one\u00a0before\u00a0start\u00a0working<\/p>\n

Important Information:\u00a0Flexibility on schedule is required. The work schedule is usually 8 hours per day, scheduled between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, 6 days per week, from Monday to Saturday. Overtime and work on holidays will be required depending on business needs. *We guarantee a minimum of 40 hours of work per week*<\/p>\n
