\n– Able to work independently with minimal supervision
\n– WHMIS, and related construction safety certifications is an asset but training provided
\n– Valid driver\u2019s license or reliable transportation
\n– Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, stand for extended periods, bend, crouch and kneel regularly
\n– Own steel toed safety boots, gloves, and hard hat<\/p>\n
\n– Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
\n– Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
\n– Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
\n– Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
\n– Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
\n– Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
\n– Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures<\/p>\n
