Overview
TruGrp, located at 1567 Sedlescomb Drive, Mississauga, ON L4X 1M4, seeks a full-time permanent project manager. Wage $57.69 hourly. Duties include:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Interpret and communicate technical specifications, drawings, and contract requirements to site staff, subtrades, and stakeholders.
- Oversee daily job site operations across multiple projects, maintaining logs, reports, and documentation as required.
- Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, engineers, and regulatory authorities to ensure delivery on budget, on schedule, and to company quality standards.
- Manage budgets, costs, and project profitability, including review of invoices, change orders, and billing.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate sequencing of work, and adapt plans to meet milestones.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Develop and implement quality control programs
- Enforce company safety policies in conjunction with the Safety Officer and ensure compliance with OHSA, Building Code, and other regulations.
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources as needed.
- Direct, supervise, and support field staff and subcontractors, monitoring quality, productivity, and safety compliance.
Two to three years of experience working in the commercial/industrial/institutional construction industry with at least six of those months working as a restoration project manager is required.
