JOB DESCRIPTION
Willie’s Metal Fabrication Inc., located at #37-8560 Torbram Road, Brampton, Ontario, seeks full-time permanent TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welder. Salary $26 per hour for 40-44 hour work week.

Work site environment: Confined spaces, Noisy

Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
Area of Specialization: Custom fabrication and structural construction of food service equipment
Equipment and Machinery Experience Required: Arc welding machine, Gas welding machine
Types of Materials worked on: Stainless steel, iron and heavy metals, Aluminum alloys
Specific Skills Required: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual flame-cutting equipment.
Welding Techniques Required: Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
Experience: 2 to 3 years of TIG or SMAW welding experience required.
