Overview

Specialty Head Chef:

Job duties: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards. Create new recipes, Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs.

 

Requirements: Min 2 years in preparing and cooking extensive Thai menu, oversee kitchen operations, supervising and training to other kitchen staffs.  This job is open for all Canadians with the required experience including underrepresented groups: Newcomers and Youth are targeted.  Demonstration on above experience is a must during interview.

F/T; Permanent. $19.5/hour; 42.5 hours/week.
