Pavao Meats is currently looking for skilled and qualified Butchers to work in the wholesale division.

Salary – $23.11 / Hour for 37.5 Hours / Week
Vacancies – 3 Vacancies
Terms of employment – Permanent, Full time
Start date – As soon as possible

Job requirements
Languages – English
Education – No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience – 3 years to less than 5 years
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities – Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Fast-paced environment, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads, Hand-eye co-ordination
Work Site Environment – Odours, Cold/refrigerated
Personal Suitability – Reliability, Organized, Accurate, Flexibility, Initiative, Dependability, Team player, Judgement
Additional Skills – Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, Wrap and package prepared meats, Weigh meats for sale, Train meat cutters
Equipment and Machinery Experience – Power grinder, Manual cutting utensil, Band saw, Sausage machine, Slicing machine
Specific Skills – Cut carcasses, sides and quarters, Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat, Remove bones from meat, Cut poultry into parts, Grind meats, Prepare special orders, Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
