Overview
In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for 2 young children.$14.00-$17.00 per hour for a 40 hr work week. salary depends on experience. Overtime if required from 45-48 hrs and would be paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on Saturday and Sunday. One year of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum of Equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Job hours begin at 12 noon and finish at 8:00pm. Must be flexible. Job located in London (St. George & Victoria). English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employers home.
Skills required–Supervise & care for children in employer’s residence; bathe, dress, plan meals and feed children, change diapers; light housekeeping for children; oversee children’s activities, such as meals & rest periods, as instructed, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; instruct children in personal hygiene; tend to the emotional well-being of children & support their social development; discipline children according to the methods requested; organize & participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading & outings.
Good communication and decision making skills are essential. MUST BE FLEXIBLE
