Overview

The Part-time Administration Worship Support role provides administrative support to the worship team in preparing weekly service bulletins and audio-visual materials for worship services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with worship team to prepare the weekly service bulletin and audio-visual materials for worship services
  • Post weekly preservice content to website
  • Coordinate content for weekly e-newsletter using Fairlawn’s Greetings! Guidelines
  • Service notification and/or special announcements via email platform
  • Assist the Digital Content team on Sundays as needed
  • Operate PowerPoint presentation during Sunday worship services
  • Ad hoc assignments and administrative tasks relating to worship services as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint), Canva, MailChimp and WordPress
  • Complete and provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Experience working with volunteers is an asset

Working Conditions:

  • Requires training for 3 consecutive weekdays (dates – tbd)
  • Attendance every Sunday and for special worship services
  • Attendance every Monday (day of the week is negotiable)
  • This role does not offer remote work

Remuneration:

$18-20/hour based on skills and experience. There will be a six-month probationary period.
