Job Description:
Conduct tests and analysis using other physical and chemical separation techniques
Maintain laboratory equipment
Operate laboratory apparatus
Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor,
Perform quality control testing on asphalt and aggregate samples to ensure conformance of the materials to industry standards.
Collecting, documenting, and preparing material samples (granular, aggregate, and asphalt) for testing.
Accurately complete tests, calculations, and reports in accordance to standardized procedures.
Identify and report out-of-tolerance results to the Laboratory Supervisor.
Keep laboratory and personal work area clean and organized.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Adhere to safe work practices, as per the Capital Paving Health & Safety Policy
Requirements
Education: Completion of secondary education is required
Experience: At least 2 years of experience are required. If the worker does not have the required experience, completion of a two- or three-year college program in a related field is
required.

Salary: 29.00 hourly, 47.5 hours per week

Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The regular schedule is 5 days per week, from Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day, with a 30-minutes unpaid lunch break. Shifts may vary depending on the business needs, including weekends, night shifts and overtime.
