Childcare Provide – Private Home (A. Rovazzi)

Overview

Caregiver is needed for three children ages 8, 10 & 12 years old. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Tend to emotional well-being of children; Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Organize activities such as games and outings for children; Take children to and from school and programs; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Laundry; Assume full responsibility of household in absence of parents;
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary $14.00/hour, 35 hours/week
Work Location: Work in employers/client’s home (Toronto, Ontario – St. Clair & Mount Pleasant)
Live-in or Live-out: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
Note: This is not a condition of employment
Age of Children: 8, 10 & 12 years old
Language Requirement: Fluent English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR
Security and Safety: References required, Criminal record check
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking
Transportation: Public Transportation is available, Travel expenses paid by employer
