We are now looking for a Full-Time Food Processing Foreman/Supervisor. If you are an energetic and outgoing person who
enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and likes learning new things, we are looking for you!
You will be supervising the operation of one of our production tortilla machines (Morning Shift). You will be responsible for
daily maintenance and keeping your Work Space clean.

Able to stay active
Able to lift up to 30- 50 lbs
1 Year experience supervising a team on a professional environment.
1 Year experience operation food production equipment.
Some College or university education an asset.

Main Duties:

• Co-ordinate activities of workers, who process, package, test and grade tortilla, nacho chips, corn nixtamal and seasoning
production lines.
• Improve methods to meet schedules and activities with other departments and farms.
• Resolve food-processing problems and make recommendations to improve productivity and quality.

• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Prepare work related reports
• Work closely with local suppliers to develop non-existing supply mechanisms and channels, new corn crops and
nixtamalization processes.
• Develop, maintain and improve new manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Make and apply recommendation on production chain and integration of local suppliers and farms
• Nixtamalization of corn, soaking, cooking corn, preparation of alkaline solutions for nixtamalization of corn.
• Train and supervise farm workers on the farming and drying of special type of corn.
