Job Description:
– Feed and tend livestock and poultry
– Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
– Follow food safety and security and animal bio-security procedures
– Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
– Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
– Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including cleaning stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
– May drive between work locations, if needed
Education: No formal education is required
Experience: No experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Work site environment: Outdoors, wet/damp, Hot, Cold, Odours.
Language: Basic level of English is required
Valid driver’s license is an asset.
Salary: $17.60 Hourly, 40 – 45 hours per week
Benefits: Gratuities provided. Accommodation at a discounted rate is provided. If the candidate is willing to relocate, the employer covers the travel expenses. Transportation to and from the work location provided.
Important Information: The position requires flexibility in schedule.
Daily shift: from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. from Monday to Friday. Work on weekends and holidays may be required based on the business’ needs.
